Privacy Policy

Effective Date: April 13, 2026
Last Updated: April 13, 2026

Dark Ecommerce Labs, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates AppJubilee (https://appjubilee.io). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you use our platform and related services (the “Service”).

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and any other information you provide during registration.

1.2 Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by our third-party payment processor. We do not directly store your full credit card number or banking details. We may receive and store transaction identifiers, subscription status, and billing history.

1.3 Data from Connected Third-Party Accounts

When you connect third-party accounts to AppJubilee, we access and store data from those services, including:

  • Shopify Partners Account: App listing data, review data, install metrics, and other data made available through the Shopify Partners API.
  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4): Website traffic data, referral sources, search terms, and other analytics data associated with your Shopify app listing, accessed via OAuth authorization.

We only access the data scopes you explicitly authorize. You may disconnect these integrations at any time through your account settings.

1.4 User-Submitted Data

You may manually submit data to the Service, such as keywords you wish to track, app identifiers, or other inputs.

1.5 Automatically Collected Data

When you use the Service, we automatically collect:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Pages viewed and features used within the Service
  • Date and time of access
  • Referring URL
  • Device information

We may use cookies and similar technologies to collect this data. See Section 6 for details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
  • Process your subscription and payments.
  • Retrieve and display analytics and intelligence relevant to your Shopify app.
  • Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support.
  • Send transactional emails (account confirmations, billing notices, alerts you configure, and service updates).
  • Monitor and analyze usage to improve the Service.
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues or abuse.

2.1 Aggregated Data and Platform Improvement

We use data from your connected accounts and user-submitted inputs — including GA4 data, Shopify Partners data, and manually added keywords — to build and improve platform-wide metrics, benchmarks, and intelligence that benefit all users of the Service.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Combining keyword data across users to generate estimated search volume and trend data.
  • Using GA4-derived traffic data in aggregate to produce market-level insights.
  • Incorporating user-submitted keywords into our broader keyword database to improve the depth and accuracy of the platform's intelligence.

All aggregated data is anonymized such that it cannot reasonably be used to identify you, your account, or your specific app. We will never sell your raw, personally identifiable data to third parties.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We share data with third-party vendors who assist in operating the Service (e.g., hosting providers, payment processors, email delivery services). These providers are contractually obligated to use your data only for the purposes we specify.
  • Aggregated and Anonymized Data: We may share aggregated, anonymized data that cannot identify you. This includes platform-wide metrics and intelligence derived in part from user-contributed data as described in Section 2.1.
  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account information and connected data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.

Aggregated, anonymized data that has already been incorporated into platform-wide metrics may be retained indefinitely, as it cannot be attributed to you.

5. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Keep you logged in.
  • Remember your preferences and settings.
  • Understand how you use the Service.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Service.

We do not use cookies for third-party advertising. We may use privacy-respecting analytics tools to understand usage patterns.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party platforms (Shopify, Google). Your use of those platforms is governed by their respective privacy policies and terms of service. We encourage you to review those policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.
  • Request a portable copy of your data.
  • Withdraw consent for optional data processing.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@appjubilee.io. We will respond within 30 days.

8.1 Disconnecting Integrations

You may disconnect your Shopify Partners or GA4 integrations at any time through your account settings. Disconnecting will stop future data retrieval from those services. Data already retrieved may be retained in accordance with Section 4.

8.2 California Residents

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

10. International Users

The Service is hosted and operated in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service at least 15 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
